How to book a site visit:
- Speak to one of our team on the phone or by email about your requirements.
- We'll take some details of the job, including the types and quantities of items for calibration. We may visit your site to survey the work first.
- One of our qualified engineers will visit your site and, liaising with your staff, calibrate and certify your instruments.
- Certificates will be produced on site and PDFs will be available through our online portal shortly following the visit.
Our technicians
Our engineers are qualified to a minimum of NVQ Level 3 in Instrumentation and Electrical Engineering and trained in metrology by the National Physical Laboratory. Thorcal's engineers undergo a 3-month in-house training programme with one of our senior engineers to cover the major types of calibration. After 2 years of junior technicianship, they then specialise in a chosen discipline and become a champion for training new recruits.
